Philoetry ... "Angel of Tasmania"

... dedicated to a bi-polar "muse-of-a-friend" of mine ... Paula ... who describes her "mania" {manic episodes} as similar to the Tasmanian Devil of cartoon lore ... but only less frenetic

"Angel of Tasmania"

Reckless as heartache ‘adored by the crowd
‘lusty for envy 'no matter how ever proud

The Real You

You're breathing
The wind is blowing
The trees are waving
Your nerves are tingling

The individual and the universe
Are inseparable
But the curious thing is
Very few people are aware of it

Everything in nature
Depends on everything else
So it's interconnected

We confuse ourselves as living organisms which are one with this whole universe

perceptual shift

Ecstatic movement past revelation
from which there is no return
to what you used to see
who you used to be
That ultimate step to transcend
eternity's threshold,
magic's trick of the eye
Mind when it moves
so easily
shining newly emitted
light that belies
primeval storm,
primal fear, the attacks
unclear of meaning
Reset
Dance reveals new landscape
Eyes, now excited, aware

Philoetry ... ideological critiques wanted ...

Hello, Pippalayana here, looking for a few thoughtful persons to gander at some of my work. I developed my own unique writing style of Philoety {philosophy/poetry}

I had a brain stroke back in 2003, and am relatively disabled ... have permanent paralysis throughout my left side. So, having always had a deeply contemplative nature ... took to writing.
