Hand propelled kaleidescope using broken and found glass.
It's recycled glass bottle bottoms I find in the streets of Philadelphia.
I made a kaleidoscope and stuck my camera inside and filmed the glass on a light box. The colored glass is stained glass I get from my job restoring stained glass windows from churches.
I just wanted to share an article that was published on the Reality Sandwich site roughly 2 months ago. As someone who is currently confronting many of the issues discussed in this article, I think "A Declaration of Psychedelic Studies" by NeÅŸe Lisa Åženol does a great job of making a case for the inclusion of psychedelic studies within the greater setting of academia.
Teetering on the edge of a vast unknown
on an ocean of somethingness or eternal bliss
Yawning abyss
A scrap of wood, floating
Remnant of a once mighty ship
Crumbling vestige, hang on for dear life
These are the last days; we meld into the sun’s rays
Forever changing, speeding faster to another plane
Falling, oh, falling through
Watch me sink into you

Ken Wilber calls this Freedom vs. Fullness.
At integral (see Don Beck and Ken Wilber), perhaps we do both.
Terence McKenna's school of thought plays a huge role in laying the foundation of the next Renaissance and provides fuel to the engine of evolutionary thought.
I created this song/video back in 2000 in honor of Jerry Garcia. I was prompted to get the movie updated and loaded on You Tube. Rock On and as always ~ "Thank You Jerry!" Peace, Love & Gratitude
I am not the type of person to get wrapped up in the alien abduction hype. Although I do think something peculiar is happening here in other realms – dream states and psychedelic trips. With this inquisitive mind, I can't help but ponder and dissect these experiences.
"Banish the word 'struggle' from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
We are the ones we have been waiting for." — Hopi elders
