Everything that we call western (and most eastern) culture is dominated by the control of the seed. This simiple and clarifying view of history may be myopic in relation to everything we concieve of being part of culture, but one could argue this point well. Even the difference between the sexes.... But let start slow.
Religion is a very powerful tool where by the sheeple are told what to do, what to say, what to pray, what to think. Words that keep people in a box, told not to question, not to think outside that box, just have faith! People accept this because they like to fit in, feel welcomed as part of the flock, with Jesus (or Glen Beck) as their shepherd.

The scientific method is something we all probably remember from junior high or elementary school, whenever we learned it. Create a hypothesis, test it out, get results, explain the results, try and replicate results.
If an experiment or a discovery didn't fit within that approach, it wasn't considered science.
Religion- Man made, just another link on the chain blinding you of the true
reality we live in. God has no boundaries, to believe or claim certain
religions you've got to be an ignorant, Self-indulgent hypocrite.
Religion is a damn good institution created by our government only to
fool many of us sorry suckered brainwashed pathetic beings into empty pockets and warfare.
The man who cannot invent will never discover. The imagination often gets a glimpse of the law itself long before it is or can be ascertained to be a law.

Well I wanted to share some of my point of view on spirituality and religion. I do not want to talk about if one is "better" or "worse" simply that they are different. Nor do I think religion is bad or good, it is simply previous people's method of trying to explain God and make it the truth to control other people.
(I don't claim to know much about any of the religions I bring up in this article, especially shamanism, I would just like to share my current understanding and odd connections I have found, with the little knowledge I do have)
Some posts on Myspace recently have inspired me to write for example, someone wrote about Atheism and how we are all basically atheists in one way or another, for example, the days of the week were named after Greek gods, but do we follow the traditions of all of them? Most likely not. But we all have some kind of beliefs and faith, no matter what we may call ourselves.

I believe James Cameron is doing his part in bringing about a new age with his film avatar. I just watched a video(that i will add) about apparently hundreds of people that face depression after watching the film.
At this present stage of the evolution of the collective human consciousness, religion serves as both a bridge and a barrier. Man justifies all manner of racism, bigotry, abuse, war, genocide, and environmental degredation with religion. Throughout Western society, the Abrahamic religions team with government bureaucracy and corporate greed to bring their dark visions into being.
