Hi, my name is Madeline :] I came down to North Carolina to work on an organic farm and because I heard folk were crafty down here. So far, I'm loving the atmosphere and all the wonderful people I've met.
It was my first meet up of the Divine Dance of Shiva and Shakti group. I knew about this tantric concept from audio books, podcasts, books, pdfs, and have evoked and practiced it to some extent with lovers, but my understanding was very shallow. Now I know it and feel it in a much deeper way.
My understanding of Tantric practices/principles has been accelerated greatly in the last couple of months thanks to the Sacred Union Meet Up with Reena Desai and my www.TantraGlow.com instructor Rhoda Jordan.
For hundreds of thousands of years, sacred practices were developed by traditional cultures to connect people to each other, the earth, the sky, the spirit world, etc. in a way that gave them a sense of place in the cosmos.
If something is deemed sacred it’s treated with respect, it’s engaged in ritualistically, and it’s done with full presence and undivided attention.
