I just got back from the Boston Ayahuasca Monologues this weekend. "Fishers of Men" author Adam Elenbaas and I took the Bolt Bus from NYC to participate in the event.

The choice of the Egyptian government to shut down the entire internet is no small thing. Certainly there were social ramifications, but news reports don't lend the proper to weight to how absolutely revolutionary this event is. Egypt is not some third-world, we-just-got-on-the-net kind of a country.

The movie reminded me of Fincher's most famous film, "Fight Club" at certain points. But I'm cool with that. It's like your favorite band, developing a style and exploring it more in other albums.

Since its March launch, the Evolver Social Movement has activated more than 10 new local Spores, sent several key speakers of the consciousness movement across our growing network, and introduced the world to the first therianthropic petroglyph by Alex Grey.
Evolver just celebrated its first ever Evolver Sporeganizer Summit at Heartland in upstate NY. After one year of action, we now have more than 40 Spore communities around the globe (and growing).

While E+SM membership has proved extremely helpful in keeping us afloat (thanks everyone!), we'd like to do a Kickstarter campaign to see if we can make some upgrades to Evolver in the near future. I'd love to see what recommendations fellow evolutionaries have as to how we can improve the site in the next few months (remember, tech takes time, even when you have the finances).

So, the question has been going around the Evolver blogs. What actions do Evolvers engage in? Are they all talk or are they creating positive change in their communities? Well, this ain't no SpaceBook or MyFace. Each month, our intrepid Evolver Regionals bring together people in their local community to explore, discuss, and act upon topics important to our time.
The big 2102 Spore is finally upon us. The one where we tell Hollywood what they can do with their shadow projections of cataclysmic disaster. We'll discuss the positive evolutionary potential in the 2012 meme through a night of "counter-screenings" and discussions in cities across the world.
