I've heard a lot about synchronicity in people's journeys onto Evolver. I was thinking about mine, and there are a few pretty obvious synchronicities in it!
I've been re-reading Cosmic Trigger and have gotten heavily into it. For those who may not have read this essential tome, it's basically an autobiographical account of Robert Anton Wilson's exporaiton of the world of the occult and the strange things he experienced and learned.
On a recent visit to my daughters in upstate New York,we watched “Gone With the Wind” on one of the cable TV stations. A main character in that great movie is Ashley Wilkes. At one point while we watched, that rogue Rhett Butler refers to him as “that stupid Ashley.” After that, whenever Mr.
Fall Tour 2009. Phish is back in Philadelphia for the first time in over 5 years. A group of friends and I decide it’s a perfect night to find the legendary “magical” Rhombus.

For much of my adult life I’ve marveled after synchronicities, those mysterious moments when something presents itself to me with timing seemingly too perfect to be considered mere coincidence. People experience these events in various forms: a strange alignment of numbers on their clock, a phrase uttered by a passing stranger, or even phone call from a friend they were just thinking about.
On Saturday, May 21, I had the most powerful and meaningful experience of my life. I witnessed The Rapture, and it was not at all what anyone fully imagined it would be.
Over the last several years, I have spiritually grown immensely. I learned to love and humbly respect all others more and more. My perception of others and Nature as separate from myself increasingly diminished.
I've had an amazing experience, at least for me it has been amazing. I am uncertain how to put into words this lightening bolt of confirmation that has jolted and consumed my thoughts. Joyously validating my inner intuitions in the embodiment of a complete and utter stranger in the most unlikely place, the grocery store. We very nearly crashed out carts into one another coming around an end cap.
In 2007 I’m telling my roommates about this crazy experience I had. We’re sitting together with the Beatles playing in the background in our small San Francisco flat. I had just read some interesting books including the Holographic Universe (by Michael Talbot), 2012 the Return of Quetzalcoatl (by Daniel) and Synchronicity — An Acausal Connecting Principle (by Carl Jung) among others.
Life. The continuous change... never asking you whether you want to do something or not... or so we think, but if you stop and listen carefully you will see that you always have a choice.
Just want to pop in briefly and say that when I first joined, we didn't yet have an Evolver Houston group, and I am delighted to have my close friend and spirit-brother Mark Myers tell me that there is one now :D
