I've heard a lot about synchronicity in people's journeys onto Evolver. I was thinking about mine, and there are a few pretty obvious synchronicities in it!

About the Tales of the Spirit Vine:

In the summer of 2009 my girlfriend and I participated in an ayahuasca ceremony; my second with Maestro Juan Flores, her first. As is common with ayahuasca, the ceremony was one of profound, personal revelation and healing, but my partner reported something in particular that caught my attention simply as an artist.

Occupy Wall Street has been going on for nearly 5 weeks. It has broken the relevancy barrier - the point at which a movement is no longer mocked by serious people, but engenders debate about how to either capture that energy, figure out where it is going or how to stop it.

Tales of an Orthodox Agnostic

Would it be a good idea for Evolver to add the ability to start a 'Discussion'? Where you could say pose a question or idea etc, or critique an existing idea among the Evolver community or specified group. I think Evolver, being a blogging site, definitely is more about expressing your individual ideas and epiphanies.

Recently the text on Evolver changed to a much lighter font (Helvetica Neue, I think) that makes it nearly impossible for me to read blog posts or anything else.

Ideally we'd be given the choice to change the font, alter the text size, or at least make it bold. The font used to be thicker, much easier on the eyes.

Some have posted about evolver’s vision and even though HQ has given their response it is still unclear to me so this is my take...

Is Evolver being sabotaged by the sudden infiltration of ADVERTISING?

If I wanted to buy a f*(king massage bed I'd go to a site that sells massage beds!

If I wanted eyeliner tattooed to my f&*king eyes I'd go to a website that does that!

So again I ask: Is Evolver being sabotaged by someone who is looking to make a buck?

I was once very involved with Evolver, but now I choose to post articles and videos on occasion. This thing is (like all things) what we decide it will be. I enjoy having a forum to post my crazy ideas and find that people derive benefit. What other place can you do that these days? :-)

Is biomimicy really a new science? Maybe it should be considered/labeled a renewed thinking process, or a forgotten way of concept development.

Notes and video from the March Edge-U-cation event in Ottawa. Was it a success? By Jamie's criteria (ie getting people to proceed to the bar afterwards) - then yes! approx 1/3 of participants went to the Mayflower for further discussion and drinks...
