RETHINK: The growing concern for African American Male Unemployment.

A current reporting by Al Jezeere News suggested that out of every four African American males between the ages 16-24 in New York, three would not find work.

The most recent statistics indicates that the 16.7% or 1.321million African American males over 20 years old are unemployed (it is not clear if this accounts for those who have opted out in the search for gainful employment).

The Tombs from the Air

Crunched shoulder to shoulder on a cold bench in The Tombs, with the courtroom hundreds of feet above us on the surface of Manhattan, up there beyond the reach of these hundreds of African-American and Hispanic men. Well, there was me, and then a couple guys who looked like elderly Keith Richards, but without the money to replace their blood.

Bouncing Bear Owner Faced with 75 years in Prison- for Selling Chaliponga and Chacruna

On Feb 4, 2010 the FDA, Kansas Bureau of Investigation and local law enforcement--24 officers in all, raided a lawfully run botanical shop and warehouse. With guns drawn, they burst in and proceeded to handcuff everyone in the building including 65- year-old, white-haired grandmas and grandpas and young, single mothers.

They then proceeded to ransack the entire building.
