And once again the surfeit of the season does not want to give way to the paucity of the next. The many will not yield to the few; abundance to the rime of frost. The old would force the clock if it could, to let its inspiration, now demon-filled, last longer. Yet leaves themselves begin their converse with skeletons: their own, which soon will leave their green flesh in the past.
Over the past few days I've found myself moved to the brink of tears by two things, the beauty of life, and the hardships faced by so many people around the world. I've also taken a deeper look at myself, my habits, lifestyle, innate tendencies, and have been searching for my true nature. Expanding my world, and seeking balance, have become what I live for.
I feel summer filling me with a warm-whelmingness. I feel like a lily, melting below the sun. What is that glowing orb? Ahh my retinas! --says the Cascadian. Life is distracting me from myself at every corner. Calls for synchronicity that I terribly deny in an effort to complete a chapter in my life.
