If you honestly want something real, then don't be so quick to judge the book by the cover over some trivial interest someone has or the unusualness of a genuine person. Keep in mind no one is perfect, but at least i am true to myself and the people around me.

Some things are best left unexpressed. There is power in keeping some things secret, in letting some things wait, in reserve. By keeping some things hidden, we let them grow, we keep them intact, we preserve their sacredness. Some things are so beautiful, delicate and fragile that expression weakens them, and turns them into something lesser then the truth.

Recently the theme of imagination has been highlighted in my life. Some months ago I read that none of our thoughts are our own, that we are not the author of our imaginings. I found great comfort in this notion, because at times I have seen horrorfications in my minds eye, left to wonder why I would think of such a thing.
Last Friday I went out dancing with my girlfriend and ended up being inspired to write a bit about my love of music. I would probably say that I have a large range of music genres I enjoy listening to, but I want to focus on one particular that has captured a special place in my heart - electronic music.
