Sharing Life

Recently I decided to share my life with a dog, (finally!) When I look at him I realise that we humans do not have a monopoly on consciousness. Animals live completely in the moment, just experiencing. Their consciousness is perfect. Rather than treating them as subservient slaves, we should be learning from the living things around us.

The Rabbit Invocation

Hey guys and gals, just posting some artwork that I'm currently working on. I'm doing a series of animal spirit guide invocations. From what I've concluded from meditation and research, if the rabbit is your spirit guide, then you are a highly sensitive, creative person. You love to spend time with your family and may have even "adopted" outsiders into your family circle.

Evolution from Father to Son

My father and I had dinner last night. We’ve had dinner each of the past 5 nights, breakfasts and lunches too for the most part. He is on the sixth day of a seven day stay with me. His trip initially consisted of a few days with me and a few days at a friend’s cabin, but the friend fell though and his trip became a week long father and son visit.

I am so very happy!!

Words cant express how happy I am to have found Evolver! Its so frustrating to go on Facebook, and constantly read about peoples problems, peoples obsessions, and negativity towards other people and themselves. Most of my friends on Facebook don't really care about our world, and dont understand that we are all very much connected and one with this beautiful world.

Following Our Ancestors' Path

Modern Druids must research what Druidism was or is and apply it to our modern times. A modern Druid's role does not differ much from that of his or her ancient ancestors, although Druids of today face many more challenges in teaching and giving service to the world. Many people have forgotten the ways of they're ancestors. They are not at one with nature or their spiritual selves.

Honoring Scorpio

In true keeping with Scorpionic November, I am honoring the birth/death process. Its cold here in Sacramento. All over California, I have brought with me my fall rituals of living through the explosion of that which is meant to crumble. Persephone returns to Hades to be with Pluto, son of Saturn. Diana, her mother, withholds her Earthly bounty until Persephone's return in the spring.

The Cost of Absence

Holistic values are a pillar of our community, no? In the way that Aethiests do not assemble, there is a space in this community for us to not entirely agree with even the materials of our foundation. Acknowledging that, however, most of us would probably agree that we are here to create inspiration and ideas to live out more holistic lives.

liberation into the natural world
of cosmic love and righteousness
sharing and dancing
laughing and singing
spinning and dreaming

we all sit around the flames
mesmerized by its heat
we feel it on our bodies
we feel it in our bodies
our organs heated by the light
the energy around the fire is relaxed and yellow
just two nights ago the energy of the fire was blazing red

Sustainability. A hot word in a hot melting pot currently. Arguably, a subjective word indeed. The things one could consider sustainable are often attached to individually ideal scenarios. The puzzle is still coming together folks.

Reality TV's Answer to Self-Analysis

About a year ago, my girlfriend and I both thought I was a little crazy for becoming obsessed with Wife Swap, an ABC reality show that I found through its syndicated version on Lifetime. I don't normally watch Lifetime (I don't even have cable TV), but the show was on at a family get-together around Christmastime.

The Idea of Koinonia,

The idea of Koinonia (1), focuses our individual potential into an amalgamation of brilliance and light. The old adage of “united we stand divided we fall” comes to the forefront of the mind, and today is the day to consider coming together to form a closer association than the casual “’hello’… ‘hello’…” of a passerby’s communion.

Message from Brother Pat to Brother Peter (7-29-08)

Dear Peter,

You are by far the most dichotomously perverse human being I have ever had to deal with -

Personality Disorder vs. Mental Illness,

Bipolar or Borderline?

Genius or Jerk?

Your Brother,

Pat

(28) A family Squabble -- Message From Brother Peter to Brother Pat (7-29-08)

Message From Brother Peter to Brother Pat

Dear Pat,

My newfound respect for women?

Damn, in a way, you're the biggest women hater I know!

Now, I love women.

I'm just telling you what I knew all along.

But if you want to fight you're not getting one from me.

I gave you my number, call her, and give it to her if this means so much to you.
