When I was in my twenties I was in a single-car accident and suddenly found myself at the top of a telephone pole next to a street light, looking down at my lifeless body hanging out of a wrecked car. I spent almost an entire day in good company, transported somewhere other than here.

I've been wanting to write about fear, but I was afraid to. What if I wrote something foolish – what would people think? Would I ever get acknowledgment and acceptance from the people I want to impress? What if someone with power over my life would read what I've written, judge me, and keep me from my rightful rewards? I could be ruined. Lose my home. Let my family down.

You get what you give, doesn't necessarily mean what we think it does. Often we believe that it means that we will receive the same or similar things to what we give. But, it seems to me, that I've never received anything from anyone. Well, at least not non-physical things. I have been loved, but the love I felt was my love. I gave love, because I felt it.

You’ve read all the books, talked until you’re blue in the face to your therapist and friends, said the words “I forgive you” repeatedly and still… you can’t quite fully relinquish lingering remnants of resentment. Think about it. Think about one person to whom you most owe forgiveness to - an absent father, a mother who has disappointed you, an ex-lover that hurt you.

Spiritual Acceleration and Instant Karma can only be enjoyed when we stay centered in self love and non avoidance of our emotions. Grounding is essential for this centering. We are always creating our reality. The question is whether we do so consciously or through our unresolved issues and reactivity.

About an hour ago my mum shouted at me and blamed me for ruining her kitchen work surface with my carelessness, splashing water as I washed up the dishes. I was a little at a loss as to how to respond and tried a little bit of reasoning. "Maybe it wasn't so bad, maybe we could replace a small bit". Unsurprisingly, it wasn't very effective.

A popular idea amongst many who study various yoga’s, is the idea that our personal story- our life’s drama- arises out of our habitual tendency to recoil away from totality and confide in a false ego sense of “I”. Personally, I see a great deal of truth in this.

Recently I have started tuning in more as to how we raise plants affects them and thus us in response. I have realized in eating plants that I can tell how happy they are, how much their breeding reflects their original prototype, the nutrient density of the soil, and sometimes also the happiness and wellbeing of their caretakers.

I've come to a life situation where I am needing to move but not able to take the vast majority of my possessions with me. This has resulted in me selling or giving away the things I own. It's been interesting to watch my feelings of attachment to these possessions come up, as well as my desires to get a certain amount of money for various items.

This video, and several very recent news articles linked at NeedItKeepIt.org are creating buzz for a profoundly beautiful and very simple idea - put a dollar in an envelope and give it away with a note saying keep it if you need it or pass it on if you don't.

Today I took a day off from spiritual practice. For a moment I told myself it was because I simply had too much to do. The truth was that I just didn't want to receive anymore guidance that I might not choose to follow, something I have been doing with a certain issue quite a bit as of late.

End of cycles, end of times
When all shall answer for their crimes
Those who work with ill intent
And those who walk where'er they're sent
Those who see will come to thrive
And bring together all that's alive
To reach a dawn of harmony
All branches of the Great World Tree

bad karma is when you miss a beat and stumble back to the rhythm.

densities of consciousness are defined by the complexity of the notes you are capable of perceiving. if all you heard was quarter notes, then all you can dance to is quarter notes. there is a lot of complexity that can be derived from this dance. you could hit half notes, and whole notes too.
