Purpose vs Intent

By reading Carlos Castaneda’s The Wheel of Time, I just learned a interesting lesson that I just wish to share with the ‘intention’ that anyone reading this may too come to what, for me, is another step to better understanding myself.

Report back from Edge-U-cation in Ottawa

Notes and video from the March Edge-U-cation event in Ottawa. Was it a success? By Jamie's criteria (ie getting people to proceed to the bar afterwards) - then yes! approx 1/3 of participants went to the Mayflower for further discussion and drinks...

Coordinating Edge-u-cation event for March 16

I'm thinking of coordinating an event for the March spore here in Ottawa

We don't seem to have an active spore going, but i've written to Remi for some advice ... I'm not going to commit to organizing events each month, but figure that if we can put on a good one this time round and get some people out, perhaps others would take the initiative to get things continuing.

Seeing What I Can See

Nearly every day, I like to walk around my backyard, slowly, taking one careful step after another, highly aware of where my foot will land and the degree of vibrations, knowing that the slightest molecule out of place will alert any insect basking on a leaf to my presence, and they will flit away.

Humanity’s Future: Redefining Structure of Education

“Out of the mouth of ignorance can flow the most incredible and insightful question(s) that may just lead to finding their answer.”

Break On Through

It has taken me some years to realize that the enemy is not a group or groups of people, that the enemy is not my mother, my father, my sister or brother; it is not my teacher, or my school, it is not the government or priest; it’s none of those things.

Evolver Should Reconsider Their Motto

I am looking at the Evolver slogan. It reads "Our world to change". Any groups, such as the government, the churches, the media, the education system, and even your family holds you back from ascending into higher states of consciousness. They should be empowering YOU instead. It's YOUR world to change.

How to Introduce and Incoporate Evolver Ideals to Non-Evolvers

I write this entry because I am asking the community at large to help me figure this one out. How do we take these ideas, projects, ideals, and introduce them to people who have never heard of such mind-bending concepts?

Have you heard it yet? peacerevolution.org

So I am listening to one of my favorite podcasts. It's Gnostic Media if you hear of it.
If not you should take a listen to it.
But you have to listen to the peacerevolotion.org show it should just blow you mind wide open.

Lawful Rebellion - Do You Really Know Your Rights?

This one is about John Harris. The man who puts things into different perspective and explains his view of our role in this society. His research of modern slavery is just amazing.

In his movie you can find the answers to the questions below.

What is Math?

This is really just a question. I have no intention to send my son to public school. Math is not a strong point for me and what I do know I learned in public school.

Psychological Benefits of Cannabis

Drugs mess-up your head. This message is carried explicitly or implicitly within every warning on illegal drugs. The warnings are very rarely placed alongside a balanced description of their benefits. If this were the case we would see: ‘Sometimes drugs mess-up your head, and sometimes they help solve your mental problems’.
