What is this Destruction you speak of?

I was asked this question by an beautiful soul regarding my last writing. And in receiving that question, I understood the need to clarify and explore it in greater depth. And so I have striven do so here.

I am fed up with atheists painting those with belief as stupid. They set up straw men opponents and burn them down with smug intellectual satisfaction. It is the atheists that lack imagination and insight because a God arises from the premises of their underlying philosophy. Scientific materialism is incompatible with atheism.

Buddha said: "Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned."

Something Seth Misterka said at an early Green Bus Tour meeting about the 1960's has stuck with me over this past year, "This time we don't need anger and righteous indignation, we need love."

Maybe the reason so many people have never figured out what they "want to do with their life" is that -- we're not meant to be doing so much of anything in the first place!

30 years old, almost 31, & I have wracked my brain my whole adult life trying to discern *exactly* what spirit/God/this life wants for me.

Of the importance of participating in idle chatter
and the cosmic giggle,

the meaning of the "right time"

What is this sense of the sense of the world?

A pre-conceptual logic of manifestation,
a schematism?
What is its sense? How does it seem?

What is Freedom?

if one is to truly know what it is, is one then free?

seems to be a could of the sole meaning purpose of our being, to know of our innate freedom...

si?

why do we enschackle ourselves in such silly schemes of obvious delirium?

If I am free, are you then freer?

what of this Freedom? ~ ?

Okay, maybe not the world, but these guys are trying.

Well not really ..
The poem turned out to be the work of an obscure Mexican ventriloquist named Johnny Welch. Welch had written the poem for his puppet sidekick "Mofles," but somehow his name had been replaced by the name of the Nobel Prize winning author.
