Zeus, the principle deity of heavenly Olympus and of classical Greece, appears to be a primordial entity that has been worshipped in the Balkan Peninsula from at least the third millennium BCE. His name derives from dyeu, a Proto-Indo-European word which means “to shine” and connects the god to the sky, thunder and the heavenly realm in general.
Hephaestus was the Olympian god of fire and the artisanal crafts, particularly metallurgy which involved the smelting and pouring of metals into casts under searing temperatures. His relation to fire also connected him to lava and volcanic eruptions. Two of his major epithets, Chalkeus (Coppersmith) and Klutotechnes (Renowned artificer) like the god with the aforementioned traits indefinitely.
Contrary to what the occult dilettante or historical romanticist may think, the esoteric undercurrent known as Hermeticism has never been a distinctive philosophical edifice in its own right, nor has it competed for cultural prominence against the major monotheistic religions–Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.

What do we mean when we use the word 'reality'? Often we mean to indicate a limitation (not a specific one, we all have our own preferred limitations) we are well aware of, but of which we think the behavior of the person we say 'reality' to does not an awareness ("Sorry to drag you back to reality, but...").
As with about over 50% of the statements I make or the things I believe in all are based on adaptations. Adaptations of information and numbers that I red or heard. Of this information I separate myself in what I find -true- or -not true-.
When I say the glaciers are melting I say that because I heard or red it I never went myself to check it out before I talked about it...
This may be an old school read for some..but I've been really enjoying a book called TechGnosis:Myth,Magic and Mysticism In The Age Of Information by Erik Davis (1998).A great read ,especially if you have a scattered attention 'follow the bouncing ball' frame of mind for good narrative.
