Recently the theme of imagination has been highlighted in my life. Some months ago I read that none of our thoughts are our own, that we are not the author of our imaginings. I found great comfort in this notion, because at times I have seen horrorfications in my minds eye, left to wonder why I would think of such a thing.
In 2003, I was living at a downtown apartment in Montreal, a spot where we were experimenting as a green kitchen, and where I was also sharing Qi Kung practices with people coming through. Having just shared a session with my roomate and a passing friend from Maine, we were speaking of our experiences and also of other practices we had encountered.

indigenous culture is vastly superior to industrial culture and is to be taken as a model and minimal standard for any proposal for action. this fairly quickly led to the idea of:
