As we go about our day, the world seemingly teems with activity and actions that are outside ourselves. Our perceptions, though, are colored by our previous experiences and deeper spiritual knowledge. So, in essence, the moment we interact with the world, we translate, seeing it from our own perspective.
About an hour ago my mum shouted at me and blamed me for ruining her kitchen work surface with my carelessness, splashing water as I washed up the dishes. I was a little at a loss as to how to respond and tried a little bit of reasoning. "Maybe it wasn't so bad, maybe we could replace a small bit". Unsurprisingly, it wasn't very effective.
Pedantic, she called me.
So true.
Though I'd rather be pedantic than ambivalent. Ahem.
However...pedantic I am and really need some help seeing the forest that is my life in it's fullest scope.
When I contemplate what, as a conscious person, I am to act from today, it's love. Love sees the light in every situation and in every person. Love transcends ego, transcends judgment, and transcends fear. Love is the intelligence of the Creative Genius, of our soul, of our hearts wide open. How can we be loving toward ourselves, toward others, and toward life?.....
