daily perched upon recumbent chair
outward into nothingness left to stare
lost for reason or purpose to find, to care
wearing sweat smelling t-shirt, shit-stained underwear
wrinkled skin, baggy bloodshot eyes, growing nose hair
the gifts to aging youth that have laid themselves bare
senility of mind, a wish to forget what is not there
Aimless, I linger, afloat in this shapeless void, a rudderless ship in the vast expanse of nothing;consuming time in exchange for knowledge’s understanding to render distinction of purpose and direction to regain ambition’s energy as reward to its expenditure or, to be forever lost.
What is there in life that is so special? Is it the witnessing of all that is around us, is it the laughter or is it the pain that is something that we are all hooked on in one way or the other? Let`s stop ourselves for a minute and breathe and than ask ourselves what is really going on.
By reading Carlos Castaneda’s The Wheel of Time, I just learned a interesting lesson that I just wish to share with the ‘intention’ that anyone reading this may too come to what, for me, is another step to better understanding myself.

Daniel Quinn wrote the book "Ishmael" which is highly influential. He actually has an action plan for transforming culture at the level of how we make a living. See his book "Beyond Civilization." Both shamanic techniques and basic deep thinking have suggested to me that his ideas are good action plans--actual solutions.

The coming world will be where the concept of time will cease to exist. We will no longer be constrained by the clock, calender, or even the days. Everything will be referenced from the position of the sun and moon. We will no longer be planning for anything. Everything we as a collective whole create, will be on a spontaneous by spontaneous moment. In other words, everything will be in the now.
The Creative Force behind the manifest world is a Unifying Principle. It permeates and gives life to all matter. Apart from Creative Force there is no life. It is the Intelligence behind the swirling atoms, the building blocks of all things material. It is the one shared attribute that gives common beingness to all things.

I have this bird cage candle holder that I kept tucked in a closet because it reminded me of how caged I used to feel in my life.
