A couple of months ago I saw Brian Transeau (commonly known as BT) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BT_(musician) perform in Chicago.

I never really "got" techno, trance, and house music before (I always liked electronic and ambient though), but this was a turning point for me regarding my musical tastes - I now have a profound appreciation for it.

I just saw one of the more interesting 'can of worms opened' as I watched 'The Keith Olberman show' on MSNBC.. Erich "Mancow" Muller, a WLS radio host, agreed to be waterboarded last week. Taking up an offer Olberman made to Fox news 'host' Sean Hannity, in which Olberman would give Hannity 1,000 dollars a SECOND, for every second he underwent of waterboarding.
