Remember the animated film Heavy Metal from back in the 80's? Well, the French made several films cut from the same cloth: sci-fi, psychedelic, surreal, mythopoeic. Two of these, also from the 80's, are Gandahar (also called Light Years ) and Les Maîtres du temps ( Time Masters in English).
Is anyone interested in creating a cartoon/animation together as a team? I am capable of a wide range of voices and have done some voice acting in the past. I also write. Looking for anyone who is interested to join!

This is an extension of some discussion from one of my news postings. if you've kept up with with my postings, you will have noticed I write a lot about sci-fi and The Future; however, almost all of it is about the NEAR future. in this posting I will instead talk about the far-but-not-too-far future, by which I mean between 100 and 1000 years hence.

The sun rose at the end of a valley of ruined skyscrapers. That part of the city was flooded. The water reached the third floor of the surrounding buildings. During a recent entheogenic experience, my mind was filled with what seemed like a kind of download, but in story form, including a quite vivid pictorial representation of the characters involved. I wrote the following during the 'come-down' hours, as seemed the most appropriate time to be able to type anything.
This is a writing I did immediately after returning from my first Rainbow Gathering. I don't usually smoke marijuana, but I was incredibly high at the time. The reason I don't smoke often, is that it elevates the frequency of my perceptual systems to spaces beyond language. Even sober, I tend to such frequencies that it's taken a lifetime to learn how to integrate socially.
Every weekend now we have a work day at the Bloomington Community Orchard. I haven't been to all of them. But each time I go, the feeling deepens. On the first day we cut and raked the grass. It was a hot day, with the sun beating on our bare backs and arms and faces. Sweat glazed our bodies. And in answer was the breeze, which cooled us under the wide open sky as delicately as life underwater.
