I recently ran across a term I had given little attention to in a very long time. That term being, "Plastic Shaman". The term has two parts to its meaning. First, it means someone representing themselves as a spiritual leader, a shaman if you will, that is genetically none native to North America. Secondly, it means a fraud, con man or swindler.

Whenever I visit the site of Kilcrea Abbey & castle Co. Cork Ireland, I wonder about the lives of the people who lived there 500 years ago. At the start of this film Terrence McKenna is speaking about the Rig Veda of ancient Hinduism. Apparently a lot of old knowledge has been lost in India. He goes on to talk about the book burning at the Alexandria library.

The documentary I'M DANGEROUS WITH LOVE, directed by Michel Negroponte, brings viewers face to face with real stories of drug addiction, withdrawal and recovery, following closely the underground practice of administering Iboga, a psychedelic plant medicine commonly used in Bwiti ceremonies. Iboga has been covertly used to treat addiction in the U.S. since the 1960's.

The western system is flawed - we are beginning to see evidence of a total system crash - from economics to social unrest, the western system is imploding in on itself. This is because capitalism demanding 3% continual world wide growth and development.. The planet however has finite resources and can not sustain this kind of production, which is inducing environmental break down..

Recently I was in a dream state. My dream had quite ordinary beginnings but escalated to something quite elaborate...It started in the normal way, but I believe I must have found my hands as the dreaming became more vivid and I was able after a while to move from one dreaming location to another quite happily.
