"Culture IS an operating system. That's all it is. and that the operating system can be wiped out and replaced by something else. So in essentially what's going on among shamans and those who resort to them for curing and council-ing and so forth... is someone's running a slightly more advanced operating system than the customer.

It is no mystery that what we place in our body has a great and profound relationship with our external world. Just like all living beings, our physical bodies require air, food, and water; it is the quality of these staples that determine our state of health and vitality, as well of course, as our mental state of well-being.

In the emergent culture we wish to evolve to what do we wish to see? Do we wish to see the same political and social structures continue over and over? Do we wish to see the ego rain supreme with dynamic power structures that are not in any way empowering of the people but of perhaps one or a few individuals?

A new and very exciting discovery has hit the entheogenic circles as of late. A group who actually has a face book site for ayahuasca ceremonies in Taiwan have discovered that the roots of acacia confusa are actually a very highly active DMT source. K. Trout had pointed this out in his books, but no bioassays where really available on this particular plant until now.

Synchronicity is a concept that I continually struggle with. Sometimes, I'm annoyed by how obsessively certain people seek them out, grasping at any little numerological coincidence that allows their confirmation bias to match their selection bias.

Part III: Becoming Light

...I believe this to be the beginning of me writing "theory based" articles based on observations I have had over the years with particular aspects of Astrology.

“Your world is the opposite of ours. We live in a solid, and have no space and cannot move or grow physically. You live in an evacuation, having nearly endless space — and yet you have a great deal of trouble growing connectively. When you move, you often use technologies which kill in order to travel. Why does it not occur to you that that is suicidal, as well as utterly confused?

Shamans, like everyone else, live in this world and are part of it. We are permeable and share karma with all other beings. It seems that the more we are in the world, the more worldly diseases we get. Shamans who don't spend time in the industrialized world don't get as many industrialized diseases.

A big change is coming. If you are reading this blog, I don't need to tell you that. You can feel it in your bones. Our civilization is not sustainable; it is at war with life itself. The world as we know it cannot continue along its present course much longer.

     I'm sorry if I come off a bit harsh here, but I feel that this needs to be addressed. I'm sure everyone recieved the same email I did from Evolver/Reality Sandwich regarding the "Ayahuasca and San Pedro Retreat with Daniel Pinchbeck". Now I may be alone in my feelings, but is this really the best way to "evolve"?

I am sure a lot of you on here have already begun to take off in your journeys with the Mother Vine, I have just begun. I find it hard to discuss any of this with people who are close to me. They believe, they empathize, they are interested somewhat, but they do not Understand. My wife says it best, "I do not know what to say when you tell me what you encountered..
