Sleep Orientation And The Magnetic Stream - Enhancing Your Dreams

I never paid much attention to the orientation of my body when I slept, until I moved into to a different house, and that orientation changed. I'm not much for moving furniture as it seems those things are usually set up in the most convenient scenario anyways according to the room.

I Woke This Morning With This Short Passage In My Mind

One must rely on their own thoughts and opinions if they want to prosper. If you are placing the responsibility of your own happiness on another person, you are failing yourself.
Relationships and friendships are suppose to enhance your already pre-existing state of being, not cause you to rely on them as a soul source of emotional inspiration.

The Lucid Dream - An Overnight Workshop with Matt Canale

Dear NYC Dreamer,

(I wanted to add this as a NYC Group event but I couldn't find the option to do so. suggestions?)

I am excited to announce my first overnight workshop. For a couple months now I have been wanting to bring this to life. I believe that this is a more appropriate way to share the art of lucid dreaming with those who are interested in developing their own practice.

Sleep Paralysis - "Im your Boogieman"

Sleep Paralysis
The Nightmare Girl

My name is Korinne, the “French” version of Kore. Kore is the Goddess who came from the light to learn from and to overcome the underworld. My life mythos closely follows the Kore/Persephone myth- the Maiden and the Darkness.

Astral Police Suck

I have been having more and more lucid dreams and I am beginning to ask more and more questions. Funny how the path down the rabbit hole works like that. Last night I had one that made me wake up scratching my head.

The incubus phonomenon

I woke up with a little bald headed, blue colored freak on my chest. I was taking a nap before work and in a heavy daze of temporary sleep paralysis; I lucidly awoke in half slumber and tried to man handle the tiny little incubus. It was small and sat on my chest sucking at me somehow in a lucid awake state.

"What Is Important For Me To See?" Said The Dreamer To The Dream

I've been studying lucid dreaming for about 8 years. Lucid dreaming is simply being in a dream and realizing that you're in the dream as opposed to being in the dream and having the thought not even cross your mind that you could have crossed dimensions. I know most of this crowd knows the difference but you'd be surprised how many people have never even heard of the concept.

vague lucidity & synchronicity

reaching out.. just beyond arms' length is this lucidity in my dreamlandscapes.

when i was about ten, i had my first lucid dream. i am in a burning barn with my young neighbor. i realize: we are dreaming, and anything is possible, so i hug him and we teleport to outside the barn, and watch it burn down.

A Hyper-Dimensional Night-Shift?

I’m asleep on what seems to be a perfectly normal night, apparently zoning out in the comfortably numb blankness of deep slumber. Suddenly I rouse to a half-wake state - certainly not asleep, but also not awake in the way we’d normally think of being awake.

“I’m about to hear an electronic tone.” The words bounce around in my mind like slow-motion echoes in a holographic canyon.

i'm dreaming while awake . . . ? ? ? Tuesday, January 13, 2009

So i've been having these occurrences -- these very fleeting moments every day for much, if not all of the last 5 months or so, where i'll just be doing whatever it is i'm doing at the time and i'll get these flashes of dreams -- some i kinda remember (maybe then for the first time), others seem a more distant situation . . .

Fun with Sleep Deprivation

In the near future, my roommate Whitney will mercifully drive me to Evergreen's campus so I can radiate. Someday, I'll have a time slot during which I will be conscious. I like to play a mix of folk-country-bluegrass, experimental, indigenous, etc.-types of musics. If my voice is not too crackly, I might read a story or two. I'll probably play Nethers and some other selections.
