About an hour ago my mum shouted at me and blamed me for ruining her kitchen work surface with my carelessness, splashing water as I washed up the dishes. I was a little at a loss as to how to respond and tried a little bit of reasoning. "Maybe it wasn't so bad, maybe we could replace a small bit". Unsurprisingly, it wasn't very effective.
Gaia bleeds from the deep wounds and injuries we have caused her, her black blood spills out onto the surface of her skin, it was never ment to be this way, her blood was ment to stay in her body, just as every other flesh and blood creature is designed. We are squeezing every drop of her life-force out of her, bleeding her to death and every living thing chokes in her blood.
Over the past few days I've found myself moved to the brink of tears by two things, the beauty of life, and the hardships faced by so many people around the world. I've also taken a deeper look at myself, my habits, lifestyle, innate tendencies, and have been searching for my true nature. Expanding my world, and seeking balance, have become what I live for.
