I decided at the beginning of the year that in 2010 I would say yes to any opportunity that came my way and see where it would lead me. So far it has been great I am pleased to report!
However in my enthusiasm to just say yes when a great opportunity came my way to travel to the other side of the world I forgot to consider something very important:

I met with Jane again in mid-February, and talked with her about her sense of victory and relief following her very intense, and apparently very successful, campaign. She and I speculate, celebrate, and also talk about the Lisbon Treaty and its implications for the citizens of the European Union.
