I was asked by my spiritual teacher to visualize what balance looked like in my life. At the time, I felt very much out of balance between my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies and was out of alignment. I also was in a bad place with work and knew I needed to get back to a health balance.

On the roof we sit, observing clouds pass and birds fly by. There is more happening among us then meets the eye, however. Things that have been repressed for so long are bubbling to the surface. The Internet is simply another form of our mind, a mycelial network transmitting and receiving information at nearly lightspeed. It can be over-whelming! Where is your attention focused?

A summer-time fascination for crop circles has revived an old interest in ley-lines. I am 'connecting things up'. A cursory look at the Ordnance Survey map for my area reveals a plethora of holy wells, standing stones, burial grounds and churches, all of which can be formed into lines of power - with the help of a little bit of imagination. But what am I connecting to?

I'm sure everybody who channels is intuitive about it and has their own way to receive information. I think it's fun to tell people how I channel because they might get excited and want to try it and see if they can feel the subtle energies I'm talking about. Anyway, here's how I would describe what I do when I sit down for a session:

My Qigong instructor said this to me one morning over tea …

Cascading, spiraling outward from this vision of One

Birth of body, the spirit is re-born
The life led not for glee or forlorn
Outward life experience, but the effect
The spirit’s universal lesson, to detect

The hills and valleys in life’s path
Gained through goodness done, evils wrath
The fleeting time of consciousness’s reign
Is in the end, a spirit’s time to gain

This is the first offering to Evolver and I would like to present a simple idea that has been hovering over my conciousness today. I have spent much of my spiritual searching with my "monkey mind". It is as if this mind can never be fully satisfied.
