This was no ordinary revolution
This was feminist cutting edge, upheaval root-deep
and in the vanguard of the vanguard
we were women loving women, learning to love women
discovering in each other's eyes, fire to re-make the world.
The roll and boil of feminist tide
were spilling women into each other's arms.
What is it about the sun that makes us deny the shadow? We revel in the dark until we find a light, and then we escape it as though it were an epidemic of catastrophic sorts. Lost under a veil of life and death, light and dark, we will always fight for the light of life, that is always our initial base, our lead.
Just found this wonderful, heartfelt apology to women and the divine feminine from ConsciousMen on Youtube. It made me cry, and heal deeply. I humbly thank for the apology, and here is my reply:
For five decades, since the beginning of the Feminist movement, awareness and interest in the Divine Feminine and the Goddess has expanded. Scores of books have explored her historic appearance and role, and her many forms and guises. The question is asked repeatedly, “How we can return her to her rightful place in our culture?”

Our minds are like computers; they're programmable, de-programmable, and re-programmable, just ask any parent of a young child!

I recently read a piece called “Living Downstream” by Sandra Steingraber in the book, The Sweet Breathing of Plants. Her words are compelling, and clearly explain how chemical pesticides used by the food industry are a direct attack on life, especially women and the earth, the feminine.
