I hold a deep passion towards human kind and nature as a whole with a dream of a better world; a world where we live in cooperation as appose to competition and we learn to thrive as a living collective consciousness instead of survive as sole individuals. I believe this is not impossible as we are born into the love of innocence which has been diluted with fear and hate through our progressive years of societal life.
My past experiences with psychedelics has allowed me to explore my consciousness into the realm of light and just as meditation is a tool, so are these natural plant medicines that are scattered throughout our home - Earth. I have taken a solo journey to the beautiful forests of the amazon to work with the Shipibo people and ayahuasca to dig deeper and really allow myself cleanse the mind and body of so much toxins this western society pumps into us without regard.
I have come to realize that healing is a process just as learning. This is a process of life and it is up to us to promote the lifestyle that allows us to connect with the environment that will encourage growth.

My real name is Aref Ahmed, I am 18 years old and reside in Rockland County, New York. I strive to be an artist in my daily life. I am a blue belt in the martial art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I write lyrics and poems, and I am working on drawing, painting, and graphic design. Midway through high school, I learned about psychedelic substances and was intrigued; since then reality has taken a spin for me. It's been 2 years since then, and I am a completely different person and have grown a lot, and will continue to grow and spiral out :)

- Martial arts (brazilian jiu-jitsu) - I started training at 14 and have competed in tournaments ever since and will continue to do so. My goal has always been to become a great black belt, and I will achieve this! Writing - mostly poems and raps; I want to make music in the future Graphic design: In middle school I used to be on message boards all the time, and from there I picked up Photoshop and started making all sorts of signatures and avatars. I found I had a knack for it, and I learned by using tutorials and experimenting. I stopped once high school began, and just recently started up again. I'm re-learning, but I have some awesome ideas which I will share soon! ^_^

Betty Larrea is a writer, artist and educator. Betty has been writing poetry for 20 years and also loves expressing herself through visual art, music, photography, and dance. She has been performing her poetry at spoken word venues, including the Nuyorican Poet’s Café and the Waterbug Hotel since 1999. She enjoys blending words, images and eclectic materials into a form of mixed-media art that she calls “poetry collage.” Betty has displayed and sold her original artwork and poetry at several venues, including The Big Art Show in NJ and Philadelphia, The Underground Art Show and the 215 Independent Book Festival.
In 2007, Betty created Yummy Luv Press, to distribute and sell her own self-published books of poetry collage art and stamped metal jewelry.
“I love playing with words and making art out of them. I truly believe in the power of language to promote personal and social change. My writing and artwork explore human connections in all forms-emotional, physical, sensual and spiritual.”
As an educator and coach, she has provided a wide range of programs and services to support people of all ages to experience love fulfilled in their lives. She founded and ran the company Live Free2Be, which delivered holistic enrichment and entertainment programs combining yoga and art, for children, families, schools and corporate clients for 4 years in the NY/NJ metropolitan area.Betty received her certification as a yoga instructor for children from Karma Kids yoga and is currently teaching yoga a several preschools and dance centers in New Jersey. She is currently working on series of yoga and spirituality books for children and her first memoir.
Betty is also a trained facilitator of workshops based on the groundbreaking work of Katherine Woodward-Thomas, author of the best-selling book-Calling in the One. She loves creating art, yoga, meditation, singing, wandering through the woods, traveling, laughing, and playing.
