relativelyLocal is Nicole Jaquis - Multimedia Artist & Educator from Brooklyn, NY; currently living in India, where most recently the past six months she has been running her start-up organization Ascetics with Cameras. While on her fifth trip to India, totaling over 24 months (and counting), she is also studying yoga, meditation and Hindu philosophy alongside various Juna Akhara sanyasin.

I'm a boundary huntress who just left the wilderness after ten years of living alone and without access to the outside world. I was a shaman's apprentice in Peru and also under a Kahuna in the Kane school of Huna. An herbalist for the last 40 years with deep plant relationships. Also a seed saver with Conserving Arkansas Agricultural Heritage. I also work as an intelligence analyst with Open Intelligence, UK. Together we are developing serious games to help shift global cultures into alternative holistic economies and living softly on the land. We're working on a suite of healing games. I'm also a buddhist practitioner. Energy healer.
