I’m not sure when it really happened, but at some point of my life I became highly aware of myself, my actions, my thoughts, my behavior in general. And at some point it got very unnerving. I seemed to dwell on self criticism and I was constantly discovering ugly and weakening facts about myself. Things which always existed in me, but never really bothered me, cause I was not aware of them.

In the summer of 2009 my girlfriend and I participated in an ayahuasca ceremony; my second with Maestro Juan Flores, her first. As is common with ayahuasca, the ceremony was one of profound, personal revelation and healing, but my partner reported something in particular that caught my attention simply as an artist.
