About Me

Bio

I have lived in Pennsylvania most of my life, with a couple of years in New York at Syracuse University, and a couple years' stint in Massachusetts during my previous marriage, a very short stay in South Carolina for basic training and another very short time in Virginia for advanced training for the National Guard.

I am probably going to stay in Pennsylvania, but I love the Great Smokies and Asheville sounds awesome and I have never been west of Pittsburgh, PA, but Colorado sounds really great, too. I would probably move for a full time teaching position if offered one.

I am spiritually bound to a hybrid "path with no name," having read Tibetan, Mahayana, and Zen Buddhism; Taoism, Shintoism; Greek, Roman, Norse, and Egyptian Mythologies;
Wicca, Witta, and other pagan traditions, Judeo-Christian traditions, Native American myths and traditions, and a bit about Hinduism and yoga. I practice ashtanga yoga whenever possible. I have also read Dan Millman's works extensively, especially Way of the Peaceful Warrior. So, combining many different and concurrent ideas from all of this, I have an open minded spiritual path. The only thing I shy from is closed-minded, dogma based traditions.
