What I'm Reading
Literary non-fiction these days: Peter Matthiessen, Greg Bottoms, Tim O'Brien, Nick Flynn, etc. Fiction: Silko, Mcarthy, Endo, McElmurray, and more!
What I'm Listening To
Yeasayer is a recent favorite. I've given Sufjan Stevens a chance lately and have been pleasantly surprised. The Whitest Boy Alive. Always love the FireTheft. Sunny Day Real Estate.I mean, my ipod is really jammed full of stuff!
Movies I've Seen Recently
I love watching movies the way I've come to read books. I really appreciate watching for craft: how does a director/writer make dialog work? How do colors influence my emotions? Stuff like that really gets me excited.
