"Banish the word 'struggle' from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we have been waiting for." — Hopi elders

About Me

Bio

This will be easy since I just had to do this for my couchsurfing profile

I'm interested in connections, the material history, the energy flows that tie what we see as discrete together, and the interpersonal connections, the understanding of each other's specificity (of experience and perspective) but also that fundamentally we all need the same things.
I thrive on meeting in the middle of moments of recognition, of our underlying oneness, and our common vulnerability, as Life, to the enshrinement of hierarchies of being, where none exist in nature.

I believe the stakes in our actions or how we look or talk have nothing to do with the establishment of some abstract group that we belong to, relegating us to mere analogies in a disembodied social drama, but that our actions have conscious and unconscious motivations and a whole host of immediate as well as unseen consequences, and that the relationship between intentions and consequences is often overlooked because our good and bad scale tends to look no further than identities/stereotypes.

My life is focused on fostering a culture that is authentic and viable and so I place very little value in the rituals that are symbolic of what traits our broken insane culture prioritize. I cannot find any humor or fun in hatred, ridicule, or the articulation of an imaginary cosmic hierarchy, but outside of these forms I am really into joking around a lot, and taking it easy.
