Forgiveness

Without forgiveness, there is no love. I pity those who cannot forgive, choosing instead to be locked steadfast in their foolish pride, with turmoil encircling them as chains. Their hearts have become so calloused as to not feel the pain that lack of forgiveness brings. No one is not in need of forgiveness and to believe otherwise is indeed an emotional train wreck. One must keep oneself in a constant lie to feel such a state of loftiness.
Life is much too precious and too short not to forgive and free oneself from the chains that rub and chafe.
It is ourselves we free when we choose to forgive, free to live once again.
