agent of chaos 9-23-09

I breathe in and
Mother breathes me
in sinews, in fingernails
in atoms and ripples
of fragrant blood

Composting my sorrows
she makes good of
even the most errant clashes
and stirs chaos
to the consistency of froth.

Somewhere in the old country
a bell chimes
and my body comes to
life, remembering

With a good wind
I can count on the tightening
to return,

Wild Child who was tamed, currently reclaiming her true nature. I am a poet with the natural world as my Muse.

I'm remembering how to communicate with the More-Than-Human Others...and what a blessing it is.

I am apprenticing to Chaos because I am chosing to trust my innate wisdom; the part that is tapped into the Collective Unconscious of Humankind from where we receive deeper truths. Stated another way, Ego is apprenticing to Soul.

I am graced to have found true Elders as guides; I am perpetually enchanted with Mystery; I have fallen madly in love with the Earth.

Skills and talents: I drum (African and Cuban), participate in estatic dance and write. And play. (I believe knowing how to "play" is a talent. :)
