IcerocketOver the last 6 months I have had various people ask me about David Icke. They want to know if I have heard of him & what I think of him. I personally really like what he stands for, although his message is nothing new. His main message is: life as we know it is an illusion. This I already learned from studying Vedanta (more specifically Advaita Vedanta) 13 years ago. There are also other authors & lecturers that had a similar message to Icke (Or is it the other way around?) over 60+ years ago. Great minds like Aldous Huxley, & Eric Fromm, as well as many others have made the same points. (Interesting though that Aldous Huxley & Eric Fromm studied Vedanta as well.)
The three main points I've seen David Icke present are;
1) Wake up to your illusion. You are not the body. Your life is a superimposition.
2) Acknowledge that we are living in a Orwellian state. And it is your responsibility to take your power back & be responsible for creating your life.
3) Realize that you are unlimited consciousness. Begin to choose freedom for yourself. In order to do this you must come from a place of oneness & love.
I can truly say that I am thankful for David Icke. He brings a clear message to many people. (The reptilian part of his message can get a bit blurry, but I'll stick to the overall message. I encourage people to not focus on what sounds "out there" to them verses taking responsibility for the other 90+ percent of what he says.) David Icke's overall message is timeless. - Because it has been. Today is no different from 60 years ago or 600 years ago in many respects. People are suffering now & they were suffering then, all unnecessarily.

20 years and 17 books later and still no solutions. Sells a lot of tickets though don't he. He' still a little suspect to me, but each their own.
There is a line of thinking out there that believes Ickes reptilians is code for Jews and in fact there are groups occasionally protesting his live events claiming this is antisemitism in disguise.

David Ike is one of the most damaging spiritual authors on the planet today. He has taught people to be paranoid and delusional. Within a year of many of my friends being introduced to him they had all renounced all spiritual teachings as methods of mind control by our reptilian slave masters. And instead listen to what this clown had to say. I have never met a single person that was into Ike that was not a classic paranoid either before or after reading his work. In the old days he would be stoned for being a false prophet. I absolutely loath this guys work.

Being British and 39 years old I remember when david Icke was a BBC sports commentator doing snooker commentary. I first listened to one of his tapes in 1994 and saw him at Brixton academy in London whilst back in England this summer and i consider him to be an intelligent and brave (if slightly egotistical) person.
One of his main messages is "free yourself" / "be your own saviour". Which is a positive message.
Icke is an anti-semite. Please. "Lizards is code for Jews". News flash, no it isn't. See the Paul Theroux series (I think it's called 'Travels with extremists') his line sums it up "When David Icke says lizards he means lizards".
He does have some way out things to say that stagger credulity, but history shows us that dismissing such things out of hand is wrong. When Freud first came across evidence of childhood sexual abuse he rejected it out of hand and said it couldn't possibly be true. We now know that, not only is it true, but that peadophile rings occur and that the Catholic Church (the single biggest religious organisation on the planet) has been systematically covering up abuse by it's own priests for years.
As to his assertions that we are moving to a global Orwellian state, I think that if you can look past what passes for news on CNN, Fox etc, there is a damning case. Wealth inequlaity increases and power is concentrated in fewer hands.
David Icke is not an enlightened Bodhisatva but he does talk a lot of sense and tells his own truth.

The core teachings and the some good sense he talks between the paranoia can be found elsewhere without the more fantastical trappings. Besides, after so much published and so many tickets sold ( as pointed out above) the man needs to produce actual proof. That is not an unreasonable request. The constant "I met someone who..." and nothing else is weak. I don't doubt his believing what he says...but self belief/self delusion is a quality associated with all demagogues.

You may be right. David Icke, may indeed be wrong about the Queen, amongst others, being a shape-shifting reptilian. I neither believe he is correct nor do I believe he is not correct about this point. I simply do not have enough evidence.
The very nature of his claims are difficult to prove and witness testimony is always open to doubt.
My point is to make up your own mind on percieved evidence and not take anybodys' word about anything that you can not verify for yourself.

it's best to study the subject, test for yourself, prove to yourself and then comment. david has much to offer but because we might not understand some of it, will automatically help throw out the baby with the bathwater. what david talks about can and is taking place but not for all to see. but if you are really curious and will put in the time, it's there. it's not the only reality, but it certainly is one of them here on earth. study history, the folk tales and so on, it's there. he is not a nut and by the time the rest realize this, it will be too late. sad indeed.
