The Ecology Of Consciousness And The Shift Of Ages

What is occurring in the Gulf of Mexico is not an isolated incident. It is only one component part to an entire ecology of unconsciousness. This is the same unconsciousness that allows the removal of mountaintops that have evolved over millions of years, the damming of rivers that have formed throughout great shifts of world ages, and the systematic deforestation of the entire planet.

Pine Ridge Permaculture

Bio: Alan Scheurman is a musician, artist, writer, permaculturist, and student of the medicine path. His organization EcoZoic, L3C works to assist indigenous communities with permaculture education by fundraising through sales of traditional ceremonial art. Their current campaign is focused on the Huichol villages of the Sierra Madre Occidental. Alan has worked with many indigenous medicine people in the Americas from the NAC at Pine Ridge, to the Huicholes in the mountains of Jalisco, the Santo Daime in NYC, Mayan Daykeepers in the Yucatan, and the Mazatec Grandmothers working with Mushrooms and Salvia. He is currently writing a book about waking up to the medicine road and surrendering to Spirit, tentatively titled "Step Onto The Road And Walk". He writes for the consciousness raising web-magazine Reality Sandwich and lives in Detroit, Michigan. He is currently working on his second solo album, a collection of songs given to him from Spirit in various medicine ceremonies.
