What is occurring in the Gulf of Mexico is not an isolated incident. It is only one component part to an entire ecology of unconsciousness. This is the same unconsciousness that allows the removal of mountaintops that have evolved over millions of years, the damming of rivers that have formed throughout great shifts of world ages, and the systematic deforestation of the entire planet. It is also the same unconsciousness that affords humanity with the ability to place blame on external forces while denying our own accountability, and the same unconsciousness that traps us in a circle of addiction and abuse, an addiction to lies that we use to justify our own self abuse. It is easy for us to outwardly express disgust with corporations and governments because we were born into a system that provides us the luxury to do so, while at the same time grants us the opportunity to continue our patterns of consumption, which ultimately is the only reason that such a system still exists. As long as we justify the illusion of separation in our own minds, we will continue to witness the complete unraveling of our physical reality and the annihilation of our home planet. We operate in a constant state of illusion based on agreements that we have made that we are separate from one another. As the oil and chemical agents used to absorb it have now begun entering the water cycle and raining back down onto the earth we have had a glimpse of the Truth. All is One. There is no separation. Everything is part of one cosmic ecology, micro and macro. This has by no means been fully realized by the masses, though with the coming catastrophes, it looks as though we are collectively moving towards such a revelation.

With the mass extinction of plant and animal species, massive sinkholes swallowing entire neighborhoods, and the coming solar storms that scientists have predicted will severely damage the world's electrical grids, the collective unconscious is about to awaken. The shift in consciousness that elders of Amerikkua (the Mayan name for the land mass of North, Central and South America) speak of is one that will bring humanity into a holistic awareness. Oneness. We will remember what we have forgotten. We will know what it means to live in right relationship.

At the present juncture, we have a tremendous opportunity to utilize appropriate technology to accelerate our own process of illumination in this shift. The collective mind of the Internet, for instance, can be used as a tool to organize our intellect and stimulate our intuition. At the same time, we have the free will to choose to distract ourselves with it, further sustaining the illusion of separation. In like manner, spiritual practices such as Yoga and Meditation as well as the usage of sacred plant medicines present us with the same dualistic choices. They can act as agents for evolutionary expansion or as escape mechanisms to distract ourselves from facing the Truth. Yoga that is focused solely on the development of the physical body reinforces the separation by disregarding other domains of existence and development. It is not holistic. Using psychedelic substances as a vacation to "journey" also reinforces this separation when the experiences are not integrated. Rather than realizing the multidimensional faculties of the human body, mind, and spirit, the recreational user becomes trapped in hallucinations, never getting out of the funhouse. This can be very dangerous as it is possible to become trapped in other realms.

Humanity as a species is trapped in such a realm. We are trapped in the material reality, unable to perceive Spirit and the subtle workings behind all of the life's processes. We do not recognize that the Universe is all Mind. We create our reality with every thought. We have collectively created the BP oil disaster, just as we have collectively created BP, just as we have collectively created our governments. It is helpful to understand here the laws of Karma:

THE GREAT LAW -
"As you sow, so shall you reap". This is also known as the "Law of Cause and Effect". Whatever we put out in the Universe is what comes back to us. If what we want is Happiness, Peace, Love, Friendship, then we should BE Happy, Peaceful, Loving and a True Friend.
THE LAW OF CREATION -
Life doesn't just HAPPEN, it requires our participation. We are One with the Universe, both inside and out. Whatever surrounds us gives us clues to our inner state. BE yourself, and surround yourself with what you want to have present in your life.
THE LAW OF HUMILITY -
What you refuse to accept, will continue for you. If what we see is an enemy, or someone with a character trait that we find to be negative, then we ourselves are not focused on what we wish to become.
THE LAW OF GROWTH -
"Wherever you go, there you are". For us to GROW in Spirit, it is we who must change - and not the people, places or things around us. The only given we have in our lives is OURSELVES and that is the only factor we have control over. When we change who and what we are within our hearts our life follows suit and changes too.
THE LAW OF RESPONSIBILITY -
Whenever there is something wrong in my life, there is something wrong in me. We mirror what surrounds us - and what surrounds us mirrors us; this is a Universal Truth.
THE LAW OF CONNECTION -
Even if something we do seems inconsequential, it is very important that it gets done as everything in the Universe is connected. Each step leads to the next step, and so forth and so on. Someone must do the initial work to get a job done. Neither the first step nor the last are of greater significance, as they were both needed to accomplish the task. Past - Present - Future. All is connected.
THE LAW OF FOCUS -
You can not think of two things at the same time. When our focus is on balance and harmony, it is impossible for us to have lower thoughts such as greed or anger.
THE LAW OF GIVING AND HOSPITALITY -
If you believe something to be true, then sometime in your life you will be called upon to demonstrate that particular truth. Here is where we put what we CLAIM that we have learned,
into actual PRACTICE.
THE LAW OF HERE AND NOW -
Looking backward to examine what was, prevents us from being totally in the HERE AND NOW. Old thoughts, old patterns of behavior, old dreams prevent us from having new ones.
THE LAW OF CHANGE -
Our history repeats itself until we learn the lessons that we need to change our path. We walk in circles until we notice the step up the spiral.
THE LAW OF PATIENCE AND REWARD -
All Rewards require initial toil. Rewards of lasting value require patient and persistent toil. True joy follows doing what we're suppose to be doing, and waiting for the reward to come in on its own time.
THE LAW OF SIGNIFICANCE AND INSPIRATION -
You get back from something whatever YOU have put into it. The true value of something is a direct result of the energy and intent that is put into it. Every personal contribution is also a contribution to the Whole. Loving contributions bring life to, and inspire, the Whole.

We are all responsible for our lives. The difficulty comes in recognizing that every one of our actions effects everyone we know and so on. The world is changing. In fact, all of the worlds are changing. All of the planets in our solar system are undergoing great changes such as magnetic pole shifts and warming climates. Our sun is transforming from the inside out. Interestingly, Nasa scientists are now using the phrase "our sun is awakening". The Maya, Inka, and Hopi all refer (and have for thousands of years) to this shift of ages as the "new sun". Our own illuminations require that same shift from the inside out. In the threshold between the microcosm and macrocosm stands the human being on the verge of enlightenment. Perhaps such revelations come about only after we have accumulated enough apocalyptic experiences to reflect upon them. After all, revelation and apocalypse are one in the same.

I write all of this as we stand in the gateway between the Piscean Age and the Age of Aquarius, moving from "I Believe" to "I Know". In less than twenty-four hours I will travel to Ecuador to accompany hundreds of pilgrims, elders of the traditions of Amerikkua, Wisdom Keepers, and Grand Masters of Ancient Initiatic Orders, to conduct ceremonies at sacred sites in the Andes mountains where the sun shines more than five hundred hours per year. This Q'awchi Raymi or Kumbha Mela Solar pilgrimage has happened every twelve years since the 1960's and is a spiritual journey that fulfills the prophesies of many traditions illustrating a new spiritual resurgence in the Americas. Ceremonies are lead by elders to activate energy centers in specific vortices that have been in recess for many centuries. Intiwatana, the June Solstice Sun, is said by the elders to emit cosmic energies that will be received by pilgrims as a spiritual blessing to strengthen their lighted path, a right of passage for those who will carry the sacred knowledge forward. We can all connect to the spiritual light of the June Solstice Sun and reflect upon the courage required to face ourselves in order to face each other truthfully to be able to collectively co-create the new world we wish to see for our future selves.

Peace to All.

I love the synchronicity...

I love the synchronicity here. You have written exactly what I have been wanting to post regarding many of the issues that have recently been taking place, but I just haven't had the time to write what I have been wanting to say because it would have been even much longer than what you have written here. But what you have written was very appropriate and very well said. I couldn't have said it any better. Thank you for posting this. :)

This is really great stuff.

This is really great stuff. Excellent to see others moving towards something greater...consciousness is expanding in ridiculous ways...

keep it up,
Mike
