POEM--Mind Your State

Alexandra 4-24-10

There is a war being fought.
It's a war over freedom of thought.
But don't be too distraught,
Unless you are caught
In a state of mind that can be bought.
It should be your right as a human being,
To be thinking and seeing and speaking and dreaming,
In whichever way you please,
But you may be told you have a disease.
It's being called a heinous crime,

Bio: I'm from Long Beach, CA. I'm going to Cal State Long Beach, currently a Psychology major. What I'm really passionate about is psychedelic science, but I have a feeling it's going to be a difficult field to get into. I'm hoping to get some feedback on what would be beneficial to study and major in to have a decent career that could integrate into and flourish with the cosmic changes that face us in the near future.
