Prolegomena to a Guide for the Emerging Yoga Shaman
Allowah

A shift is happening in the yoga world in connection to shamanistic practice, particularly the use of plant sacraments like ayahuasca.  Finally the older generation of yoga teachers who have used ayahuasca for decades are speaking about it more openly.

Psychedelics in Light of the Yoga Sutras
Allowah

What can the Yoga Sutras and their interpreters tell us about entheogen-induced states of consciousness? If I partake of plant medicines, have I fallen from the path, or can botanicals play a role in the discipline of yoga?

Notes on Daniel's Interview with David Wolfe

Some Notes on Daniel's Interview with David Wolfe

I just want to make some brief notes about some of the main points that were made during the interview last night, and throw in a few things that seem relevant to the discussion.

About Me

Bio

I went from Western Philosophy, to the study of religion, New Age, then Yoga, and currently have been researching plant medicine. First journey with Ayahuasca was a profound initiation that led me to embark on my current direction.

Right now I am learning all that I can about Plant Medicine (aka, entheogens, psychedelics, shamanics) and am writing a book on the interrelationship between them, Yoga, and Shamanism. I am currently looking for a publisher, as well as for anyone who would like to talk or provide information or resources on these topics.
