What is the Refresh Rate of Reality?

Is reality a simulation?

What's the resolution (Planck Length)?

What is the refresh rate? Maybe certain "chemical enhancements" allow us to see the signal itself? Is consciousness is all about interpretating that signal and giving us the output of what is evolutionarily advantageous? Can humanity upgrade to a better service provider? Maybe 2012 is all about the cosmic cable guy coming to install universal fiber optics.

I don't know, maybe you do.

I've asked this same question

Ofcourse I don't know the answer :-) but some people claim the the planck length to be the resolution of the universe.

I'm afraid of the whole 2012 situation. Because I have this terrible feeling that nothing will happen and we will to endure the rest of our lives wishing for something better, but nothing came along

1987 all over again. (Look

1987 all over again. (Look up "Harmonic Convergence")

hmmm..

I hope the cosmic cable guy isn't anything like Jim Carey. Ha ha, yeah, I went there

Interesting concept though. Makes you think.

The refresh rate on reality

The refresh rate on reality is the rate at which your mind can process the universe
actual reality is based on electro magnetism which is instantaneously everywhere

Heavy!

Heavy questions, friend (no pun intended). As far as "chemical enhancements," my personal theory has been and remains that dilated pupils (let's say, from a spontaneous release of endogenous DMT, for instance - or naturally large pupils even) enable some optic nerve receptors to "see" reality that is otherwise imperceptible to contracted or pinpoint pupils. So, that said, chemical enhancements above and beyond the "norm" may enable us to see something we wouldn't otherwise see; I can't say for sure if it's the signal itself that we're seeing, but it's a useful consideration.

The Planck Length is a bit beyond my ability to conceptualise in relation to your question, as yet. I'll work on it over the holidays, as time permits...

As I posted here a couple of weeks ago, I think "reality" is based on consciousness, which is abstract and subjective...so our perception of reality is based on our thoughts. Itzhak Bentov wrote, "Thoughts....do not originate in the brain. They are generated by the respective bodies or fields that act on the brain to produce tiny impulses that the brain amplifies into thoughts." Perhaps the fields to which Bentov refers have something to do with the Planck Length? The world may never know....
