Rock, Lizard, Cactus, Cloud, we are all different pieces in the Tupperware set of life. Is one piece better than the others? No. Each piece of each shape and each size has its own important function. Missing a single one, the set is incomplete.
We must not fight one another, for we are truly all here to do the same thing- and that is to hold what has been poured inside ourselves, and to keep it safe. That is all.
So why do we hold what we do just to have it one day poured back out?
Perhaps to let it cool quicker. Perhaps so we can add some spice of our own. Perhaps we’ll never know...
This task can be a happy one, but it can also be quite miserable. That is up to us. With the help of others though, we can learn new ways of holding what we were made to contain, and even pour some of ourselves into a fresh new piece of plastic ware.
After all, this is how we came to be- filled by our parents who were filled by theirs,
And we’re all constantly spilling a bit, but being topped off perfectly by the spilt drops of others. Its beautiful.
This whole great set of us is collectively holding one big pot of soup.
It’s piping hot, so as long as we’ve got some in us, we warp and stretch and do all sorts of weird things.
But this is life, and we have no choice but to live it. For when finally, our soup is dumped back into the great pot, what are we other than pieces of
useless plastic?
