About Me

Bio

I grew up in the woods and fields not far from the rocky shore or the blue ridged peaks, playing in the scents and sounds and sights of the verdant blossoming dying reborn earth, and supported by a loving, nourishing family. I'm eternally grateful for these things, and try to keep the memories in my heart as best as I can despite the bumps and rolls of everyday work and school and responsibility city life I know find myself engaged in...

My whole life has seemed to be a gathering spiral explosion into greater awareness, helped along by my great friends the fungi, which have led me here and many other places, though circuitous and uncertain the path may often seem. I feel that now something is happening, or perhaps only must happen by our own making, and devote my energy and future towards realizing this wave of change we all seem to be caught up in and riding along.

I'm looking over the edge, back at the flames, and wondering how to fly...

Skills and talents
my talents are growing in permaculture (i.e. holistic, nature-inspired design that moves with the flow to close systems, max yield with minimal input and benefit the whole community of beings) and so too in fungi cultivation. I also have a knack for writing, especially where arguments are concerned over the subjects I care mostly deeply about. Mostly I am coming to know myself as a perciever and weaver of seemingly distinct parts into a dynamic, cohesive whole. whether they be plants, people or beliefs, I am cultivating my ability to see and synergize elements.

Entheogens, herbalism, mycology, neotribalism, Permaculture, stars, the forests, the moon, the sea and the elves
