Red, black, white and green
A flag upon the cross
A people made to suffer
For another’s tragic loss
Another sacrificial lamb
Nailed up to erase our sin
The guilt we feel for horror past
Ties our hands when again it begins
The olive groves are stained with blood
And tear gas taints the air
Whilst children armed with slings and rocks
Fight a world that doesn’t care
A world that stands there silent
Lips sealed with threads of guilt
As generations are raised inside
A prison we helped to build
Two wrongs will never make a right
Its an ageless lesson taught
Yet a people burned now strike the match
And set aflame this war thats fought
When do we say the lines been crossed
Sympathy turned to condemnation
For a fear thats turned to righteous hate
Fuels this violent consecration
And for those that point with fingers clean
And talk of defense and settlers rights
Should a rapist be surprised or shocked
By the fact their victim fights ?

excellent

sorry to break the public's artistic silence here but thanks for bringing up the topic.
I was excited to see Obama's apparent distancing from the State of Israel, but now things seem to be getting even uglier between them and Iran. I really hope it doesn't take another world war.

Let's do some Conscious Sci-ence!
