In natal charts and individual horoscopes the 5 slow moving planets are considered to be of lesser importance for determining traits because there is not as much variance to observe in those close to the same age. As we live our lives and feel the complex interactions of the transits of planets from year to year, we begin to see that the slow moving planets set the stage for the energy of the new year and the new generations to come. 2010 was full of powerful astrological transits, and 2011 will have Jupiter and Uranus both in new houses with Neptune preparing to be. Jupiter just entered Aries a few days ago, with Uranus following closely behind. Saturn will remain in Libra another year, Neptune is in Aquarius one final year. Pluto is in Capricorn indefinitely. That gives 2 slow moving planets in fire signs, 2 in air signs, and 1 earth sign. 4 are in Cardinal signs. 1 is in a fixed sign. This will be a year for starting projects, initiating plans, and pioneering new advancements. Disruption is always a consequence of new movement, but I welcome the changes!

Jupiter in Aries - Jupiter rules Sagittarius, another fire sign. Mars normally rules Aries. Relationship is neutral/positive. This year will be a year of personal advancement, the self, the will, and expansion. Assertiveness will create your luck and fortune.

Uranus in Aries - Relationship is neutral. Spending over 10 years here Uranus will learn a thing or two from Mars. Personal freedoms and independence can not be ignored. Bold and outrageous styles will become more popular. People won't let anything stand in their way. This will still be a time of upheaval, for the lord of erratic movement and freedom is within the realm of movement and chaos!

Saturn in Libra - Saturn is exalted in Libra, where he is given much power. It is hard to say if this is generally positive or negative from our perspective, since both the good and bad aspects of Saturn are heightened. The next year will still bring hardships concerning contracts, equality, partnerships, & alliances, but Saturn with the softer touch of Venus ensures that backbreaking labor and endless toil have their just reward.

Neptune in Aquarius - Neptune has been fallen in Aquarius for the past generation, and that comes as no surprise. The planet of the mind, perception, reception, escapism, self denial, and personal unraveling within the realm of freedom, independence, technology, and advancement of the masses at any cost. This is why technology and drugs are what became our greatest poison. After 1 more year Neptune will be home in Pisces, where he will finally exert his pure influence. Until then our dreams and fantasies will continue to be trapped in our addiction to technology and dependence on pharmaceuticals and artificial methods.

Pluto in Capricorn - The lord of the underworld is still slumbering in Capricorn. Relationship is neutral. Both are slow, Pluto is Hades, Saturn is death - Both we can only partially understand. The planet of mystery, the subconscious, and the all or nothing aspect of the human soul is within the realm of hard work, technological advancement, society, and labor that will yield reward. From the depths of our mind there will continue to be incredible technology and scientific achievements. It is all or nothing when it comes to progressing technology.

This of course is summarizing what I feel about these relationships. Maybe some of you have input?
