Barry was a member of a lively cabal of astrologers that existed at Rutgers University in the 1970s, where he received a degree in English Literature. Currently, he is vice president of the Astrological Society of Princeton, NJ, and writes for a variety of astrological publications. His other interests include Discordianism, the philosophy of mind, and plumbing.Â
