I have a dream of living without federal reserve notes (money), of working for something better than federal reserve notes, and of not feeding federal reserve notes back into the system in order to obtain the things I need and desire. I have a dream of no longer being a slave. I have a dream of being free.
But that is not even the most beautiful part of my dream. The most beautiful part is that I can free everybody in the world, including the absolute most oppressed and seemingly hopeless. Do you know why? Because I, living in the richest nation in the world or anywhere in the "first world," have the power to shut down the entire system that is causing war, poverty, and suffering around the entire world. I am the one responsible for all the suffering in the world, and therefore I am capable of putting an end to it all. I can't be a savior to anyone else, but I sure as heck can stop doing all the harm I'm doing!
Every time I go to work and put in my time, every time I buy a product, every time I pay for a service, every time I'm involved in the exchange of a federal reserve note in any way, I am participating in a system that is responsible for the killing of millions of people around the world--be it through war, sanction, environmental destruction, or economic bullying into poverty--every single day. I contribute to it every day, and it keeps killing every day. I am an accomplice to the crime. Every dollar bill I touch is dripping with blood.
When is time for real change? When I am going to DO something? When is it going to be more than just talk? When am I going to get up off my comfortable butt and actually do something to break away from the system and make a real change?
If I actually did it, would you actually do it too?
Let's turn this talk into action! Let's make these dreams a reality! Let's start building alternatives to this system! I know in my heart that we can do it. We need to start thinking big and talking big and acting big.
Our hope does not lie in the idea that the system will not collapse. Our only hope is in the fact that the system WILL collapse, and that we'll be here to build something better, you and I and all of us, together as one. We can start building it now! Today. Right here. Right now.
Yes, we CAN! And it is our moral obligation to do so. It's our moral obligation to ourselves and to the world. Our higher selves are demanding that we start making progress toward this dream at this time, because this is a fundamental part of our task toward creating a better world. We cannot successfully meet our goal of making the world a better place without completing the task of liberating ourselves, and thus the world, from money.
But first, you must free your mind from the slavery of money. You must free your mind from the slavish mentality that money is something you need.

How can you know this info and still look at money the same ever again? lol When everyone knows this info they will quit there jobs, stop using money, gain group consciousness and FORCE AWARENESS through non violent STILLNESS. No riots, no fighting not even marching. Simple stillness. Kundalini and bliss is contagious!

That sounds good to me Bob! That's exactly what I'm trying to say. But, I would have nothing against physically defending myself if attacked, or planning for that possibility. But the good news is that they need US to constitute the military and the police force, and we can just quit doing that too! ;)

That does sound interesting! I'll check those links out for sure. Shamanism indeed, my friend! Shamanism is all about healing and transformation. And let's not forget the transformative power of alchemy! ;) I'm not an expert in either subject, but this is my intuitive understanding based on my own spiritual experiences and the information I've run across.
On a more practical level, what could we do today to begin the process of disentangling ourselves from the system? I want to start growing my own food this spring. It's one small step, but it's something! I also want to seek out communities in which people are using barter. What else can we do, do you think?

The only thing I try and get people to do is grow more intelligence. I'm convinced that as we understand the principles first, then we can take the next step to apply them. The mission is to become fractal(sustainable,self ordering), that is our cosmic test. My blog "http://www.evolver.net/user/pod4/blog/secret_science_ecstacy_and_immortality" has a lot of the practical steps. As for the monetary system: A fractal has the trait of being PERFECTLY DISTRIBUTABLE through NO STORAGE. It is very subtle. The is what the monetary system is moving if it is to survive. Therefore there would be no need for storage(banks) and the resources(not paper money)would be distributed to where it was needed. When will this happen? Maybe a bit in the future still. Now my question is if the Venus Project is familiar with Fractal concepts. If it is there is nothing that will stop it.
What I decided to do personally is drop everything in my life and study sacred geometry, that was in about 2001. I never had a worry about how i was to survive and iv always been taken care of. I'v been homeless but guess what? There is always libraries and borders bookstores to study! ;) FOR FREE!

Yes, I very much enjoy the ideas of the Venus Project! At the end of Z-II Addendum they talk about the unity of all things on Earth, our connection to this unity which is what really brings peace and joy into our lives, and into our bodies. The most important fundamental truths found in spirituality are there, and it doesn't matter what else you do or don't believe, in my view. What matters most, to our survival and well-being, is our understanding and experience of the unity of all things.

I like your post and your spirit, and especially your idea that, because we live in this country, we have the power to change ourselves-the country- the world.
May I just make one suggestion going forward?
Be alert to, and wary of, shadow projection. By "shadow" I mean the dark parts of you, and me; the human parts of our beings that are greedy, hurting-and-hurtful, even potentially violent. By "projection" I refer to our human tendency to see our own shadow in others, and point to it as something "over there" that's bad and needs changing.
It's easy to see "us" as All Good, and "them" (in this case, people with big power and big money) as All Bad. I wish it were all that simple. But it ain't.
The way to undermine the way things are in the world is not to oppose/destroy "them". That will feed the monster. The answer lies in subverting them by converting them; by undermining their own darkness by first dealing with our own, transforming ourselves, and then them.
Evil is vital energy in need of transformation.
We need all of us. Even, or especially, the bad guys.

I don't disagree at all my brothers! My whole point is that we each we need to face our shadows, integrate our own shadow sides, and take responsibility for ourselves. Ultimately, it's up to US whether or not we want to use federal reserve notes! I know that's much easier said than done, but what if we begin to dream of it, right here and right now? Perhaps integrating our shadows is part of the process of taking responsibility for our own behavior. It's not about fighting against the system so much as it's about simply ceasing to participate in the system! Why would we want to continue participating in something that is obviously so destructive to us, to others, and to the world? That's not being personally responsible! We cannot save others, but we can take responsibility for ourselves.
Once you've done some intense inner work, once a certain amount of insight has been gained, how can you, in good conscience, continue to use federal reserve notes? How can you continue to participate? For the time being I do, because I haven't found another way yet, but what if we begin building this dream together? When does inner work become outer work? When do we really, truly take responsibility for ourselves and our impact on the world?
It's not just your thoughts and your emotions that effect the world. It's also your actions and the systems you choose to participate in by working for them, buying from them, using the money that makes their whole machine go around, etc.
If you truly own your own existence, if you truly take responsibility for yourself and your own consciousness, then the next natural step is stop your own participation in the system of death of destruction, to withdraw your own support and your own tacit consent, to cease giving it your energy, and to quit keeping it alive.
That is what it truly means to be awakened as an individual. That is what it truly means to have consciousness. That is what it TRULY means to embrace the empowerment of knowing that we can create our own reality, our own world.

Well I think really to get past the issues of not needing money Is to actually use the way government's get money. If the government can gain masses of money through taxes. Taxes work quite well for them to gain revenue. Churches do it, in a church someone gives a percentage of their income to the church. well what if donating a percentage of your income could build you a sustainable home. A sustainable community. We use their corrupt system to get ourselves out. Then no longer need it their system and are able to stop using monetary notes.

OK, your angry, I get it. What your not saying is what are you replacing the current system with and how will that work in the world. How will it be better when you get the changes you want? Your approach is like burning down one's house because it needs some work without thinking where your going to live afterward. That's foolish and it's also called anarchy. Anarchy leads to chaos not improvement. I think your going to find that men much smarter then you and I have thought long and hard about what your saying and solutions are few and largely flawed. Unrelenting pressure for practical improvements in the current system is the wiser approach whether it meets the time frame of the impatient or not. Your going to need to be much more thoughtful about this if your ever hope to succeed and get mine and others support. Till then all your saying is, I'm angry. Big deal, we all are disappointed with something, join the crowd.
