Terence Today - lighting our glittering spiral to unity

Terence was a witness and living testament to trans-dimensional reality. He understood that our information exists as a vibration of energy, but realized that ours is not the only frequency available (perhaps not even the most desirable).

Terence was a living laboratory. He was the adventurer, the adventure, the treasure map, the "X" that marked the spot, and the mist shrouded fringe inhabited by dragons all rolled into one. Terence followed his gut and his bliss and stepped out into the universe and interfaced with the previously untapped dimensions around him.

Or perhaps, more accurately, he found a means to strike a harmonic chord and stepped into the shared, shimmering field that signified one dimension momentarily coming into resonance with another. He rippled forth a curios ambassador and sauntered back into our 3D interpretation a procurer of wisdom. Never stingy with his findings and beliefs, Terence shared what he learned with lyrical grace and humor in an ever-flowing stream of information, thoughts, insights, dreams, and vision.

Whether harmonizing with plant intelligence, the deep pool of the human subconscious, the sudden sparkling synapse of the Internet, or the elegant Taoist spiral of the I Ching, Terence allowed his rhythm to join with dimensions beyond our narrow band. Though thrills, pleasures, and wonder were there to be had, he journeyed with a purpose.

Undeterred by the often harrowing entry into shared reality, Terence sought new, fresh, meaningful ideas. He wanted to make his own direct, personal connection to the great collective intelligence of our past, present, and future. He wanted to mingle his information with the eternal and free himself from the parochial confines of habit and the tiresome symptoms of religion, politics, science, and culture.

Terence was a prophet of the ultimate unity. He saw our reality being drawn to a collecting point where all is being and every conceivable point is connected to and aware of all others. Universal resources evolving without limit in service to creation. Novelty indeed.

I believe the greatest legacy of Terence McKenna is the knowledge that we are spiraling to this point of grand unity. As we make our great journey, previously impenetrable walls of separation will become gossamer veils revealing the astonishing and exquisite possibilities of oneness. We have the right, privilege, and infinite ability to claim trans-dimensional being as our own. We have Terence McKenna to thank for lighting the path before us.
