When I see the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, the exposure of pedophiles in church and state, the recognition and potential prosecution of institutional financial fraud, and the moral vacancy of resource wars, I begin realize the emerging pattern our time.

Humanity is larger than the institutions intended to contain us and we are breaking free.

Clearly, open season has been declared on the Pope/Vatican. Big Oil and Big Banking are next (and they deserve it). Can Big Narco, Big War, Big Media, Big Brother and the Shadow Government be far behind? We can see the apocalypse (the unveiling) happening all around us. Truth embargoes are vaporizing and the corrupt, totalitarian hearts of money, oil, war, drugs, surveillance, politics, and religion are exposed.

The much needed truth telling is creating a reverberation of increasing intensity that is quite literally shattering the carefully constructed crystal dome placed around humanity. Though important, this transition is unsettling and painful for many good and wonderful people in the world. Increasingly, everyone can see the corrupt, bankrupt "authorities" and difficult days ahead. Overwhelming stress can build up as we face the only question that really matters, "What do we do about all this?"

Our corporate brethren are already boiling the oceans, so I suggest the rest of us take a more modest approach. Start by creating your very own mock-up of the world (think: "My Intention for Humanity on Earth"). It doesn't have to be grandiose or all encompassing. It just needs to address the things that matter to you personally. Every time something comes up on your radar screen that does not jibe with your list, send out an intention to change that situation. More proactively, you can focus on your intentions on a daily basis.

Here are some thoughts to get the ball rolling (I welcome any and all input):

What is your intention for the biosphere?
Do you want toxic air, soil, and water?
Do you want clean air, soil, and water?
Do you want the biosphere to be damaged and corrupted by human civilization?
Do you want the biosphere to strike a healthy balance with human civilization?

What is your intention for human civilization?
Do you want human civilization to face some sort of Doomsday?
Do you want humanity to veer away from Doomsday scenarios and move toward healing transformation?

What is your intention for providing the physical necessities of life?
Do you want free, abundant, renewable, water and food supplies for the planet?
Do you want profit-driven, genetically engineered, scarce water and food supplies for the planet?

What is your intention for peace?
Do you want peace or war?
Do you want the military to control the population of the planet?
Do you want the military to serve the population of the planet, become obsolete, and stand down permanently??

What is your intention for freedom?
Do you want to take responsibility for yourself, your home, and your fellow beings?
Do you want some other party or entity to take responsibility for you, your home, and your fellow beings?

What is your intention for health?
Do you want inevitable disease and sickness?
Do you want abundant health?
Do you want your health to be controlled by corporations?
Do you want advances in medicine and ancient wisdom to work in harmony for the loving benefit of all beings?

What is your intention for your spirit?
Do you want to understand your true origins and reasons for being?
Do you want to follow a religious, scientific, or philosophical dogma?
Do you want science, philosophy, and religion to work in harmony for the loving benefit of all beings?

What is your intention for justice and accountability?
Do you want to create a just civilization?
Do you want all beings to be recognized as equals?
Do you want all beings to be held accountable for their actions?
Do you want to create a special class of beings who reap benefits while others do not and face no accountability for their actions?

The list can go on and on. I suggest you keep it short, sweet, and important to you.

Empower yourself! Begin a personal practice to think about your list everyday. More quickly than you might imagine, your thoughts, words, and actions will begin to come into harmony with your intentions.

I agree..

As you've illustrated here, it's going to start with asking yourself lots of questions.
You're appeal here is to the individual, not the group if I understand correctly.

I like your quote, "... Humanity is larger than the institutions intended to contain us and we are breaking free."

but once you've broken free, then what? The individual has to be strong, has to find the answer to these questions. Then they have to be strong again and move toward enacting the answers.

Why is it, when faced with an obvious and simple truth, many turn away from it's reality? Say like the 9/11 event or the Israel/Palestinian situation?

I say because they are too big to admit to and if addressed, everything that we know of would change instantly. Most average people can't handle that so they turn away, choosing the lesser of the two evils. That way, their reality stays intact.

Intentions are very good. We all have to learn the power of intention all over again and it won't start out harmoniously. And I am not referring to prayer intentions. I am referring to the intentions of belief and action materializing in answer to your individual questions. The responsibility for the change you describe will come from each one of us, one at a time.

Right on. Yes, I am

Right on.

Yes, I am talking about personal intentions here. It's consciousness first and reality second.

I can't solve the problems of the world by myself. But, I can put my intentions for goodness out there and ask for change when I see badness. In doing so, I network my intent with others who feel the same way. Together, without knowing each other or organizing in some official way, we create a positive field of intention. In this way, I believe we can and do shape the world.

The essence is here some where...

I believe that somewhere in your statement,

"... Together, without knowing each other or organizing in some official way, we create a positive field of intention."

is the crux of the matter. How does everyone get to know and understand this concept? It is not conscious, mainstream beliefs.
It is almost contradictory to everything shaping our society today.

Yet it is the original state we all interacted with at one point back in antiquity. Can we regain the insight? Is the modern individual strong enough to re-create that "positive field of intention" free of commercial marketing?

Keep on your path, I'm sure your positive strength will be a focal point in this changing process.

I still believe the modern

I still believe the modern individual is strong enough to do anything.

Commercial marketing is a form of conditioning that is has evolved into a powerful force because we abdicate our responsibility for shaping our reality Marketing is just a highly focused intention born of duality consciousness. The notion of "me as separate from others" necessitates a market that competes to serve and indulge ME . And why would ME want to change that? :-)

When our primary setting is Unity, our motivations and intentions will reshape our civilization (markets included). Btw, I don't believe the individual evaporates into Unity. Rather, the individual realizes a place in a larger, open system. It's consciousness first and reality second.

And thank you, Roarke. I will do my best to stay the course.
