If You Were Omnipotent...

If you were to die this second, and you could freeze time for as long as you needed, what would you want to tell the world? What footprint would you leave behind? Would you ask forgiveness for something you’ve done? Would you thank those who gave love to you? Would you tell those you had resentments against that you forgive them? As you look back on each moment of the life you have just led, how do you judge it thus far, all the unconscious acts done to you and by you? How would the emotions of this life look if…
If they were a song?
If they were a painting?
If they were a dance?
If they were a poem?
If they were making love?
If they were a sunset that spread across creation?
What if this song, this painting, this dance, this poem, this sunset…what if it is ugly, what if it is not how you want the world to remember you by? Well time has been frozen, you now have eternity before you set the wheels spinning again. Imagine you have the skills necessary to create this art, to leave an essence that you want to be remembered by. Imagine you can create anything within the imagination. You may say, I’m not creative, I am not worthy for the world to see. I tell you that you are, the ego wants to take credit for it, it wants to come from the mind but all great artists are not intellectuals, they are intelligent, they are not learned, they are impassioned, they are creative, they are intuitive. They channel what the heart, the mind’s eye, sees and puts it into a form that can be viewed in the 3rd dimension, a window to the 5th dimension. Just like when you see an image form in the clouds, it does not come from the mind but from somewhere else. It is intuitive, it is creative, it is divine. All creativity is divine, once it has been created, once it becomes known, it is of the mind, it can be replicated, it is no longer divine.
So, your song, your dance, your painting, your poem, sunset, your movie, your life, your footprint….
You can make it anything you want, it has to be original, it has to be creative, it has to be divine.
It has to expose what is inside. What do you want the world to see inside of you? What emotional notes do you want to resonate in this harmonic symphony? What emotional colors do you want in your painting? Would you end duality and only paint with white light leaving behind the rainbow? Would your song only have one note? Find your passion…compassion…harmony, channel it, create it.
Imagine that in your last second here in the 3rd dimension, now fully in the spirit, and no longer in the body, no longer controlled by mind and judgment. Imagine that in that second time is frozen for as long as it takes you to leave your essence for the world to behold. What will you create? Where does the heart take you when can do anything, when you are omnipotent?
Move your feet to the beat, sing your song loud, and shine your light bright
I love you all,
Brian

About Oz (edited)
The premise of the post was "If You Were Omnipotent...", if I were "God like" for a moment what would I say as a legacy to the world. I am not the all powerful Oz was my point. I am not God but if I were Omnipotent.

The information I presented in the link however does propose that we in death do become Omnipotent in a sense but not in a "God like" way, that we simply return or become a part of everything at death.

My self I think the fundamental ill of the world is our selfishness. That is a manifestation of ego as you have stated but different. It is not our pride that gets in our way of a better world it is our greed. Greed in many, many forms not just financial greed.
I am standing naked in front of you. I will be as honest with you as possible except when to do so might cause you some serious harm that I could perceive. Perhaps even in some instance where it would do you harm but grudgingly
Poem and greed
I do love the poem that you posted the link by Mary Elizabeth Frye. So profound and so true.
I do agree with you that greed can take many forms; greed for power and control, greed for knowledge, only to name two more. In any case, greed is the motivating factor in all negative aspects of our society and our history. History is replete with the greedy actions of others causing misery upon the masses up to our present day. Our biggest goal, and problem to overcome, is to overcome the bitterness and the negative feelings that this greedy control brings about within us; at least within myself. That being said; that is the battle; isn't it? Overcoming our own ego in pursuit of justice and setting things right; when one must start with one's own self to set the pattern of selflessness and elimination of the ego. After all; when the curtain is pulled aside within ourselves; what is left?
It is of course possible
to switch from a reality based definition of honesty to an academic, philosophical discussion but humanity is not ideally prefect nor are we objective, having subject elements.
Perfection is an illusion
an illusion we choose to believe. A ruthless task master within one of many self constructed prisons of the mind.
In letting go we can have fun! :)
On second thought
There is a little something I would do.
I would give you a moment of peace. (Actually I've already said that here on Evolver somewhere but I can't find it.) It sounds simple doesn't it? You'll understand if it comes. :)
