IcerocketHello all! We wanted to let you know about a recently -purchased documentary that we just watched 3 times in a row, marveling at all the great philosophy and inspiration behind it...
It's called Fierce Light, by director Velcrow Ripper. A must see if you are at all spiritually or activism inclined. (which I think we all may be)
Another reason behind writing this post is to request something of the Evolver community...
We have been wanting to show some "evolutionary" documentaries to some friends around the Seattle area with the projector that we recently bought and need your help in finding some good ones. We would like to do this legally, so if you know of a good place to purchase them online, it would be much appreciated...
Thanks for the suggestions, we appreciate any effort you feel compelled to put into this... and who knows? Your suggestion could change someone's life (including mine.)

'Documentaries that changed the world' and 'In the name of Justice' by John Pilger( he has many, these are two collections of his documentaries from the last few decades that I bought some time ago. I believe he was possibly the first journalist to make a documentary with American Soldiers in Vietnam saying how they really felt about the war etc. But he's still going. )

two docs Dirty Oil & Tar Sands: the Selling of Alberta are about oil exploitation in the province of Alberta, Canada.
Into the Wild is directed by Sean Penn, about a man who fasts a lot in Alaskan wilderness & it's full of drama. docudrama. "happiness is only real when shared."
