Well...
it has happened. 2012 has OFFICIALLY become mainstream.

If you watched the Simpson's last night guess what Bart was writing on the chalk board?

The world may end in 2012, but this show won't...

HA HA HA

I love the Simpsons...

there was a special afterwords that I suppose was trying to give "equal time" to the
Nuclear Power Industry, the Catholic League and Brazile....

whatever...

I suppose we are all being indoctrinated by the Simpsons since it is on Fox..... it's all a
big conspiracy... there are probably hidden messages in the simpsons too... watch out!

Yeah

I remember back in the late '80s/early '90s being aware of the whole 2012 thing thanks to McKenna's Timewave Zero, and his subsequent discovery of the Mayan calendar connection. Took 20 years to go mainstream, which fits in well with what Robert Anton Wilson said in "Cosmic Trigger." (He called it the Jumping Jesus Phenomenon--it takes 20 years for everybody to wake up to a new idea. He cited Einstein's theories.)
Ahh, whatever happens in 2012, happens. I'll just still be pissed that people who think of/know about something novel and are ahead of their time will always be disappointed when a crappy movie or a sensational History Channel docu is what it takes to reach the masses.

i think a red flag in it

i think a red flag in it going mainstream was the major release "2012"
anything with john cusack is a disaster
